The Paxos Club

This beach bungalow hotel is a delightful family run establishment in a superb position about 15 minutes walk from Gaios. It nestles in a small, beautiful bay sheltered by olive groves and cypress trees, sloping to a fine shingle beach, which is ideally suited for swimming for all the family.

The accommodation consists of chalet style twin/double rooms with en-suite facilities, most with air-conditioning, and sea facing terraces. Facilities at the hotel include a large open air bar area just a few metres from the beach where drinks and snacks are served all day and an excellent restaurant serving both traditional Greek dishes and continental food. There is a superb hard tennis court overlooking the sea which is floodlit at night. You can relax on sun-chairs with beach umbrellas or enjoy table tennis, wind surfing and water skiing and should you hire one of our small boats, the hotel has its own private moorings. This charming B” grade family run hotel, is operated by its proprietor, Dimitris, his Swiss wife and a team of experienced, dedicated friendly staff. It is the only one of its kind on the island and offers an excellent alternative to self catering.

PAXOS BEACH HOTEL

The Paxos Club is a lovely new apartment style hotel just a 15 to 20 minuteS walk from Gaios. Originally a large Paxiot house, it has been lovingly converted into apartments with feature swimming pool, a bar, restaurant and well laid out gardens. There is a frequent courtesy bus to and from Gaios and a near by beach.

The apartments are spacious with air-conditioning and comprise studios with I twin bedroom, a lounge with I sofa bed, kitchenette, shower room and a small balcony. The studio suites have the same layout with the addition of a second sofa bed and larger balcony. This hotel is situated in the countryside and is convenient for the many walks that are available on Paxos, it is low rise and has the appearance of a lavish villa rather than a hotel. There is a superb swimming pool with children’s shallow end, plus a hydromassage section. Sun terraces are well laid out with free sun loungers and patio furniture. The restaurant serves both traditional Greek dishes and continental food with snacks available from the poolside bar A local taverna is just a few minutes walk and you can leisurely stroll into Cabs in less than 20 minutes.
